Purim is coming.  We must remember what Amalek did to us and defeat them as Hashem commands us to do.
“Remember what Amalek did to you on the way as you came out of Egypt, how he attacked you on the way when you were faint and weary, and  cut off your tail, those who were lagging behind you, and he did not  fear Hashem. Therefore when Hashem your G-d has given you rest from  all your enemies around you, in the land that Hashem your G-d is  giving you for an inheritance to possess, you shall blot out the memory  of Amalek from under heaven; you shall not forget.”

 זָכוֹר, אֵת אֲשֶׁר-עָשָׂה  לְךָ עֲמָלֵק, בַּדֶּרֶךְ, בְּצֵאתְכֶם מִמִּצְרָיִם. אֲשֶׁר קָרְךָ  בַּדֶּרֶךְ, וַיְזַנֵּב בְּךָ כָּל-הַנֶּחֱשָׁלִים אַחֲרֶיךָ, וְאַתָּה,  עָיֵף וְיָגֵעַ וְלֹא יָרֵא אֱלֹהִים. וְהָיָה בְּהָנִיחַ ה’ אֱלֹהֶיךָ  לְךָ מִכָּל-אֹיְבֶיךָ מִסָּבִיב, בָּאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר ה’ אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לְךָ  נַחֲלָה לְרִשְׁתָּהּ – תִּמְחֶה אֶת-זֵכֶר עֲמָלֵק, מִתַּחַת הַשָּׁמָיִם; לֹא תִּשְׁכָּח.
I was reading an article online, where some commentator was considering the possibility of an Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear bases around Purim time. It would be fitting seeing as the Purim story was set in Persia.
